Personal Profile

I consider myself to be a conscious, motivated and enthusiastic individual with a tremendous sense of humour. Being a good communicator has enabled me to deal effectively with those I come into contact with over the past 13 years as a Registered Manager at Peace Manor Residential Care Ltd. 

My role as a Registered Manager meant that I have to work in close partnership with my clients, their family network as well as the wider social care services, healthcare organisation and other intervention teams, to delivery better recovery outcomes for clients with Mental Health needs, including those with alcohol and substance misuse as well as forensic services.  

Specialist Areas: Strategic Management

This includes: 

Performing environmental analysis, establishing organisational direction, formulating, implementing, evaluating and controlling strategic outcomes.

Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Directors and Partner in Health and Social care service such as:

• Providing leadership in administration and management functions of the home.
• Embrace diversity, create and uphold an open, positive and inclusive workforce culture.
• Provide training and support to staff towards Continuous Professional Development.
• Formulate and implement the home care policies and Procedures.
• Participate in evaluation of the Home policies against agreed organisational goals, business objectives and quality assurances.
• Co-operate with the CQC to ensure that relevant legislations and regulation of high standard of care are maintained.
