The Purpose of the Home

 

Peace Manor is a family-run residential home that provides 24 hour care and person-centered support for people with enduring mental health needs.

 

We believe that every service user has the capacity to develop their skills. Our efforts are therefore focused on practical support to increase independence for individuals. Residents are encouraged to use their time meaningfully, by participating in balanced choice and structured activities in their day.

Aim & Objectives

  • To provide comprehensive individual assessment of need and offer a flexible choice of person-centred care and support.

 

  • To respect the views and contribution of our service user and create a unique environment that allows safe expression of emotion.

 

  • To involve service users, their family and advocates where possible in their plan of care and care plan reviews.

 

  • To ensure equality of treatment without prejudice regardless of their age, gender, religious belief disability, race, or sexual orientation.

 

  • To promote their right of independence, choice upholds their human rights, respect their dignity, privacy and safeguard from harm or abuse.

 

  • To co-operate with other providers to ensure service continuity for our clients and to ensure Peace Manor's policy on equality and diversity is reinforced in a non-discriminatory manner.

 

  • To co-operate with the Local authority and Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure compliance of regulation and care standards are maintained.

Fees

Our fees vary according to the assessed needs of service user and any increase in charges is usually in relation to rate of inflation. Fees include council tax, content insurance, utility bills, cleaning services, staff etc.
